Our Story

Founded in 2014 by Annelize Singh a South African entrepreneur living in the USA for 25 years near Harvard and MIT and with a passion for the health, medical and investment world. The other Founder is Robert van Gasteren a Dutch entrepreneur, investor and non-executive/board advisor from Rotterdam with a global track record in Technology.

We started as Business Acceleration Service for European companies wanting to land and expand into the USA. Soon we were asked to help find investors for start-ups and scale-ups. We became panel members, event speakers, jurors, etc. Then the Corporate market knocked our doors to help find them innovation to use or start-ups to take over.

Then our journey extended. The demand for our services grew, because of our approach and philosophy. We always said to ourselves: one-off, transactional, billing relations is not what we want. Being distant and large is also not what we want. Our vision is to be seen as a business buddy, a friend, available 24/7, transparent and honest. Being a partner, based on mutual trust, reliability, respect. Hence we don’t work with large legal documents. We prefer to even not work with contracts. Friends and family are not build like that why should business be an exception? End of the day it is people business.

Our dream is to have clients entrusting us with whatever difficult projects they might have. To become a virtual and extended member of their team. Even to become friends. Our biggest kick? A “client” calling spontaneously and asking us for an informal BBQ with their whole family.

We also realized that in order to help our clients best we needed access to an even larger network, be able to support on a global basis, covering all continents and time-zones. Having access to other skills and experiences. So we started to extend our partnership with Partners with the same DNA.

Entrepreneurs with their own story and experiences willing to “go-the-extra-mile” and leveraging their background and network in the best possible way.

Now our Partnership consists of the best in class in their respective areas but all of us can do much more than the so-called one trick ponyshow. The Partners are located in San Francisco, Boston, Sao Paulo, London, Rotterdam, Monaco, Warsaw, Singapore, Bangkok. We have a network of dedicated Associates we work with in New York, Helsinki, Paris, Rome, Cyprus, Malta, Tel Aviv, Dubai, Hongkong, Beijing, Sydney, Johannesburg and elsewhere.

Our partnership consist of a bunch of well respected individuals acting as one team, one family. We are all equal partners. We don’t like the title inflation so many times seen in professional services firms such as “VP”, “Senior VP”, “Managing Partner”, “Senior Partner”, “Founding Partner”, etc.
